  4. CompuShow is a graphics display program for CompuServe GIF (version "87a" and
  5. "89a"), RLE, MacPaint, PC Paint, PC Paintbrush, Dr. Halo, Ega Paint, ColoRix
  6. and Targa graphics images. It supports Hercules, CGA, PCjr/Tandy-1000, EGA,
  7. "Super-EGA", MCGA, VGA, "Super-VGA", the IBM Professional Graphics Controller
  8. and 8514/A adapters. Super-VGA support includes Ahead Systems, ATI, Chips &
  9. Technologies, Everex, Oak Technologies, Paradise, AST, Compaq, Dell, Genoa,
  10. Orchid, STB, Tseng 3000 and 4000, Trident, Logix, ZyMOS, and Video7 adapters
  11. (and compatibles). CompuShow also provides 16 color graphics displays on a
  12. CGA, and Tandy 1000SL/TL 640x200x16 color mode. Files are selected for display
  13. from an on-screen file directory, which may be sorted by name, extension, size
  14. or date, in ascending or descending sequence. You may log to a different disk
  15. drive, change sub-directories, copy, rename, and delete files. The program
  16. will automatically select the best display mode for any graphic, or you may
  17. display it in any mode available on your graphics adapter. Images larger than
  18. the screen may be panned vertically and horizontally. Colors may be adjusted
  19. on EGA, MCGA, and VGA systems, and the adjusted palette saved to disk.

  21. Program Limitations: The enhanced (registered) version of the program provides
  22. printing on monochrome and color dot matrix and laser printers and includes
  23. an automatic Slide Show, and a system configuration program.
